Hopple Popple, the event planning company in Boston did a marvelous job with Sydney's batmistfa held at The Wentworth by the Sea! It was so much fun for both the adults and kids, which is not easy to do! The room looked gorgeous and the added touch of having professional dancers to teach the guests was incredible! The flowers were by Columbine Florist in Boston and were the prettiest arrangements I have ever seen. Sydney did a great job during her service and it was one of the best events of the year to photograph.

Chris and I have been involved with the American Heart Association and the GO Red for women campaign over the last 18 months. We have photographed countless red dresses, models and flower arrangements as well as made posters and flyers for their 2 big fundraisers. On the Edge of Awareness took place last week at The Cliff House Resort and Spa. Each table was decorated with a red shoe floral arrangement donated by area florists and then they were judged and awared various project redshoe honors. It was beautifully decorated and a wonderful event. The Go Red for Women campaign goal is to raise awareness of women's risk of heart disease. It is the number 1 killer of women in this country and events like this help promote awareness and it did raise over $73,000 for research! Congrats to Chairwoman Denise Rubin, owner of On The Marsh Restaurant for all her hard work this year and Danie Connelly of Absolutely Perfect, she was the AMA's Crystal Heart Award receipient.

Brooke Sheldon owner of Lilybrooke Events, llc of Chicago and Kennebunkport honored Chris and I with her presence over the weekend. While she was here, Chris created a new portrait of Brooke for her marketing materials. I think it is quite cute! Lilybrooke Events specializes in coordinating weddings and social events worldwide. Most recently Brooke traveled to Missouri to run an event for George W. Bush with the White House advance team. Prior to that Ms. Sheldon traveled to Michigan for various social events and was in Kennebunkport last summer to coordinate two August weddings. Her attention to detail and her great personality make Brooke a great choice in the event business. To contact Brooke visit her website at www.lilybrooke.com
Dottie and Cory were married in October at the Wildwood Chapel in Kennebunkport, a tiny chapel in the woods. After the ceremony we went to Colony Beach and the sky was picture perfect. The reception at the Nonantum was in the River Room which had the prettiest lights all around the room. The cake by Confection Art, not only looked great...it tasted yummy! I loved the photo of Dottie's Dad that was attached to her flowers, nice touch! All the best to Dottie and Cory living in sunny Tampa!

Often, we get emails like the one I opened today that say "we love all the photographs and cannot decide!" Well, I would suggest a wall collage so that you can enjoy many of the images all at once. Here is one from an Ogunquit Beach sunset shoot in September.

At Stacey and Mike's wedding in October they had the cutest details. I loved the beer glasses with their name and wedding date that the guests took home and the cake colors were great! Mike started his day at the Dock Square Barber Shop for a clean shave which was so fun to photograph. The ceremeny and reception took place at the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust and was a crystal clear day! One of the highlights of the evening was the Jason Spooner Band from Portland, they rocked the tent!
