Lindsey and Matt were married during a November hurricane. It was so windy out that several umbrellas gave way that day. But it did not darken their spirits and we found some fun places to make images. We took the bridal party to the Captain Lord Mansion where Lindsey and Matt got engaged, then we took them to Federal Jacks for a few drinks and some pool, then off to our studio for more beer and a few white background shots, finally we headed to On The Marsh where they were having their reception. It was tricky with the weather, but we had so much fun! Lindsey and Matt were our first engaged couple to get completely soaked in the ocean with their clothes on and they were so much fun to be with during their engagement sessions and on the actual wedding day. They both sparkle when they are near each other and I am excited to photograph them in the future when they start a family. I am so glad that Lindsey and Matt chose Chris and I to be part of their day and lives. I heard they had a fantastic time on their honeymoon in Australia. Here are a few favs, there were so many it was hard to pick just a few.

One of the most magical times of the year hits Kennebunkport every December and that is Christmas Prelude. The entire town is decorated, santa arrives by lobster boat, families reunite at Allison's Restaurant and 3000 folks gather at the monastary to sing carols. When I drove through Dock Square last night I felt so lucky to live in such a great place and we are so fortunate to be able to make a living do exactly what we want to do - creating memories that last a lifetime. We will be photographing many families over the next few weekends and one family we have been taking their photographs since we opened our doors in 1992. It is a joy to see the children grow and hear about their previous year. If you would like information about Christmas Prelude please visit www.christmasprelude.com. Happy Prelude!

When we were in Texas last week for the re opening of the George Bush Library and Museum we were able to extend our stay by a few days and take a tour of Austin and San Antonio. We rented bikes from a local bike shop and spent a day touring Austin by bike. They have many bike paths and it is a great city to see. We really enjoyed the Longhorns and their football energy! Everywhere we went on game day folks were sporting their Longhorns gear. The weather was exceptionally warm and we really enjoyed the climate and tex-mex. Here are a few shots from the trip. The lobby shot is our hotel the which was located in downtown Austin.

Last weekend we were honored to have been invited to College Station, Texas to the grand re opening of the George Bush Library and Museum. The most exciting event of the weekend was when President Bush jumped out of a plane with the Golden Knights Parachute team. He surprised everyone , even his family. College Station is a fun college town where the Aggies rule and are not afraid to tell you. In fact, the President of the student body gave a very moving speech about Aggie spirit and the commitment to service that every Aggie makes. About 20 Mainers made the trip to the event and it was so nice to see so many familiar faces in the sea of many that attended the event. The library itself is something to see and we were flattered to see many of the images we have taken over the years included in the exhibit. Following the event Chris and I traveled to Austin and San Antonio and I will be posting some of those images later this week. If you would like to see more from this event please visit .

Christina and Josh were married at the Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport in mid October and I am just finishing their photographs this week and I must say I had several favorites! I especially liked the Boston Red Sox caps that the dads sported when they came down the aisle after the ceremony. Christina and Josh had such a great energy and we really loved photographing their wedding.
