Jeff and Jahnna met on eharmony's website and recently got married in Kennebunkport, Maine. They actually had 2 ceremonies at two local inns. The first was at Captain Lord Mansion and was just the two of them and 4 close friends. The second ceremony was a family ceremony that included Jahnna's adorable son, mother and her brother and his girlfriend. The family ceremony took place at Captain Jefferd's Inn and was very cozy and filled with love. Jahnna's son has the cutest personality and was so excited to be getting a stepdad, it was really amazing to see the connection that they have together. Chris and I are so glad we were able to attend and document both ceremonies for them!

I really like the feel of these few images since I think they show the love between Josh and Jennifer. We have know Josh for many years and often photograph the homes that he builds with his company Moody Construction and we look forward to getting to know Jennifer in the next coming months.

We are home in Maine after 3 lovely weeks in Sunny Florida! While we were there I did a few test shots of the kids with my new Nikon camera. These are from the first resort we stayed at in Orlando, Silver Lake Resort. Now we are digging out from under a huge pile of mail and looking forward to many portrait sessions in the next few weeks.

Chris and I are in Gainesvile, Florida at the University of Florida for Jennifer and Ryan's wedding. The ceremony took place on campus at the Baughman center and was one of the prettiest spaces I have been in. The reception was at the Sweetwater Branch Inn which is a victorian bed and breakfast located in the Historic district of Gainesville. The weather could not have been nicer and everyone at the wedding was so fun and delighted to be a part of Jennifer and Ryan's day. Chris and I are were so glad we could travel to Florida to do the photography and now we will be heading to the beach for a few weeks. Here are a few shots from yesterday.

Jesse and Fred exchanged vows on Saturday at The Retreat at French's Point in Stockton Springs, Maine. The Retreat is one of the most beautiful reception facilities in Maine and Fred and Jesse are two of the warmest most wonderful people you could ever meet. The Retreat was the perfect location for their event because Jesse is the owner and CEO of the facility. Sperry tents provided a heated tent with a hard wood floor for the dinner and dancing. Flora Fauna provided the amazing decor for the tent as well as the bouquets and the men's fiddlehead boutineers. The bridesmaids carried lanterns and adorned old fashion capes. The young gentlemen rang bells as they walked down the aisle to the outdoor gazebo where the vows took place. There were so many wonderful details that I only mentioning a few right now. My favorite had to be the horse drawn sleigh that Fred and Jesse had a ride on moments after becoming man and wife. An outdoor ceremony in Maine in February is very unique and I must say I was a bit wary of how it would go off, but I must say it was the most beautiful and wonderful wedding I have had the pleasure to photograph. Chris and I are so happy for Fred and Jesse and are so blessed that we could be a part of their day.

Lara and Mike exchanged vows and rings at the lovely White Barn Inn in Kennebunk on Super Bowl Sunday. Mike and his gang started the day at Federal Jacks Brew pub and enjoyed pool, beer and lots of laughs. Lara and her women had a refined brunch in the loft suite at the Inn. The ceremony took place in the restaurant and was officiated by Dan Forte who always is a delight to work with. The entire wedding was very intimate and the guests a delight. One particular photo I like is during the ceremony and you can see Chris in the background and Dan is out of focus. I like this because it shows the intimate feel of the event. The service and food at the White Barn is known worldwide as spectacular and they lived up to their reputation Sunday evening. Chris and I were lucky enough to have our dinner in the wine cellar which is very fun and cozy. Overall, a wonderful winter wedding with a great couple. I wish Lara and Mike all the best!
